They actually take time to interact and teach in class. I love the small class size, it gives each student time with the trainer. ~ Monica Callahan, Doc and Delta
I enjoyed your class and getting the opportunity to learn a whole new way to train. I never knew anything about clicker training before coming here and you taught me what success it could offer us! Thank you! I wish I'd learned about positive reinforcement training years ago! ~ Ashley Ricker, Misty and Kody
We learned that she is easier to raise than the human children of our house. :) Serious -- just a little work goes a long way. Structured, guided living rules makes for a happy home. Being consistent. Get trained, then train. We enjoyed the information, expert advice and experienced, effective training tools. ~ Paul and Christina Showmaker and Bella
We certainly have nothing but GREAT things to share about your services. We consider you the Dog Whisperer. ~ Annmarie and Kimberly Schade
I don't know if I ever properly thanked you for the help you gave us with Spencer when we first brought him home. The short time you spent helping us correct his behavior made the difference between us being able to have him in our home rather than having to return him to the rescue group. Your instruction also helped me to have the confidence I needed that I could handle Spencer and help to make him a part of our family. So a belated "Thank you very much." ~ Sue Laeng
Laurie and Ken Buchele excel not only with the technical aspects of training but also with the emotional connection which is an essential part of the training process. S.P.A. has invited Laurie and Ken to several of our Rescue Events to demonstrate the importance of dog training, whether you have a newly acquired (hopefully a rescued) dog or have had a dog for some time and have never gotten around to signing him/her up for these wonderful classes. Believe me, it is never too late. You can indeed teach an old dog new tricks. Properly training your dog will deepen the relationship you share with them and will eliminate a lot of stress from your life! Positive reinforcement is key and combining technical training with positive reinforcement is the only equation for real success. That is what the Buchele's offer. In case you haven't heard, S.P.A. is extremely picky with whom we place each dog and cat we have rescued. We are often criticized for "caring too much" (whatever that means). We expect the best for each and every castaway animal we have rescued. That is why we recommend Laurie and Ken's classes to each and every family adopting a dog from S.P.A. Integrity... it is all about integrity... and the Buchele's got it. ~ Barbara McGrady S.P.A.
Buchele's helped me and my wife with our German Shepherd and Huskie. We have nothing but good things to say about their services. ~ Mike Dickey
Ken and Laurie are wonderful people to work with. We appreciated their willingness, expertise and patience in dealing with issues as they arose with our feisty German shepherd; she is settling in well with the family. We loved the classes and are grateful to you for all your help! ~ Jim and Carol Schade
My favorite part of the classes was seeing that my puppy is learning and the people and how nice the Bucheles have been throughout the class.
~Julie Jaeger and Lily
As our instructors I appreciated your continued encouragment and I liked watching your dogs so I knew what I was trying to get my dog to do.
~ Melissa Guzman and Bo and Buddy
We really appreciate your flexibility for us both to be able to attend class.
~ Sara Swander and Jewels
My favorite part of class is the small class size. It provides some distractions yet allows for individual attention. ~ Jim Dempster and Bear
Instructions and directions were clear and concise. You were well prepared. Great class. ~ Vicki Adams and Penny
The click/treat method of training is absolutely the best, most positive method of training. I have used the "correction method" which was successful, but click/treat makes more sense and is more loving.
~ Susan Gilmore and Chloe Bear
I learned that my dog can actually be very focused. I need to practice rewarding at the right time. I like how you got around to each owner/dog during practice. ~ Bernadette, Chondra, and Shep
I learned that my dog and I both have to work together as a team to make this work. ~ Connie Ries and Goldie
