We are now taking reservations for K-9 College! Just like sending your children to college, you send your beloved canine companion to stay with us for a specific amount of time and we work on an individual training program with your dog. Prior to your dog's college stay with us, we will meet to design a training program that is specific to your dog and your needs, including (but not limited to) house training, crate training, house manners, tricks, competion basics, therapy dog foundation, and socialization.
During K-9 College your dog will live in our home with us, get one-on-one attention, play time with other dogs, training, and socialization. You supply your dog's food, crate, and comfort items -- we supply training items, including treats. While your dog stays with us, you are still financially responsible for all veterinary care for your dog.
When your dog's residential college program is complete, we require at least three private sessions or one class series (AKC S*T*A*R Puppy, Family Dog, Canine Good Citizen, or Competition Class block) to work with both you and your dog on the things your dog has learned during K-9 College.
Dogs must be current on veterinary care and all of their vaccinations. We must have a current K-9 Day Camp/College/Boarding Registration form on file for your dog (online form will be available soon -- paper copy available to download here). Dogs must be able to get along with other dogs and show no aggression towards other dogs or people.
We only accept one dog at a time for K-9 College. Please contact us for more information or to make your reservations.
