Classes

We offer many different types of classes and services to accomodate the many different needs of dogs and the people who love them. We offer both group classes and private sessions and we vary the times and days classes are offered. Check the listings and the calendar often for new classes, days and times. We also offer in-home training with our Behavior Consultations and Private Sessions, K-9 College (your dog stays and trains with us to learn the basics), and K-9 Day Camp (doggy daycare).

Puppies -- 6 weeks to 6 months old

AKC S*T*A*R Puppy Curriculum and Evaluation

Manners, attention and focus, desired puppy behaviors, and foundation training

Puppy Playtime -- everyone's favorite time! -- for the puppies to learn and play together.

Dogs -- 6 months old and up

Canine Life Skills Class -- a foundation class and the first class we recommend for most dogs, 6 months old and up.

House manners -- polite greetings, doorway manners, go to mat.

Safety behaviors -- coming when called, stay.

Foundation training -- attention, focus, sit, down, walking nice on a leash.

Participate in APDT's Canine Life and Social Skills program and earn degrees with your dog.

Canine Good Citizen

For dogs who are out and about with you and have a solid foundation of basic house manners, greetings, and safety behaviors.

To show your community what a wonderful dog you have!

for dogs who react negatively to other dogs, people, situations, etc.
